The project relies on volunteers to interview, record, compile and donate materials. StoryCorps - Over the past few years they've been greatly recognized for providing a means to record a brief oral history at their StoryBooths in cities and on the road. A very good initiative.

The Elemental Press - Lissa Ann Forbes creates beautiful custom journals, legacy books, laminated bookmarks and other materials. She also is an accomplished public speaker, leads workshops and writes an engaging newsletter.

The Legacies Encinitas Youth Elder Project - Legacies is an inter-generational project in Encinitas, California. The project is now a national model that honors the important role Elders hold in our culture. This is done by celebrating them through Youth-generated story art works. The result is an invaluable community legacy that can be exhibited throughout a local region.
